Be Intentional

Our actions are more powerful than words. Sometimes, words fail to convey a message that our actions can more effectively communicate. In other words, the way we act shapes the impression people have of us. Our intentions determine our actions. What we intend to do is what we end up portraying. Therefore, it's essential that we are deliberate in every action we take. Simple gestures can enhance our efforts, and we must be mindful of our actions. Remember, sometimes less is more. By speaking less, we become more valuable. It's critical to ensure that our intentions and expressions align and that we avoid being deceitful. Tree-Free Paper 🌳

In 2019, we collectively proposed a "Solution to Pollution" to reduce the use of plastic, which was partially successful. However, since the pandemic began, plastic usage has surged due to the widespread use of PPE kits, masks, shields, and sanitizer holders. Plastic consumption is a major environmental issue, but it is not the only one. Deforestation is another significant issue, and paper is the primary cause of it. Instead of merely urging people to stop cutting down trees, we need to identify a better, more feasible, and accessible alternative. For instance, paper or cloth bags can be an alternative to plastic bags, but they may not be practical or affordable for everyone. Globally, between 80,000 and 160,000 trees are cut down each day, with a considerable percentage being utilized in the paper industry.
