Befriend Yourself

However, the pursuit of personal growth can sometimes conflict with the pleasure we derive from it. We tend to expect self-satisfaction in everything we do, but we often forget the ultimate goal, which is contentment.

In today's contemporary and materialistic world, stress and anxiety have become ubiquitous in our lives. While it is natural to feel anxious about something, we cannot let it take over us. One way to reduce anxiety levels is by befriending yourself.

Befriending oneself means "to help oneself by becoming the support they need." When you stand up for yourself, psychologically, you are befriending yourself. When you feel like giving up, there may be someone who persuades you to keep going. However, when you befriend yourself, you realize that you do not need someone else to motivate you. You can motivate yourself wholeheartedly!
